Modern life can feel like we are meant to cram every minute with activity and learning, and that if we aren’t on social media day and night or keeping up with the constant news updates, well maybe we are in danger of missing out – but is this true?
Where does this pressure come from?
This session isn’t about being super busy and making a 25hr day, the priority on this module is to make your quality of life better, improving your ability to prioritise & use your time better, in and out of work.
It will give you a toolbox of coping strategies and practical ways to be more in control without adding more to your ‘to do’ list. We will look at how you use your time at work, common time zappers, possible solutions (for work & home) and we ask: What do you need more time for?
Look at the BIG picture.. what really matters and what can YOU do? No one ever said they wanted to work more on their death bed and life is short, so we want to enjoy it and not look back with regrets. If not now..when?
By the end of the module we will have made a plan – so you have a well thought out set of action points of ways to notice the subtle ways time gets eaten up in the way we live. Also by default you will learn about the overlap of work and home life, you will discover that making small changes in one area of life will help you perform in others too, benefiting your colleagues, family and friends – but most importantly, you.
